We apply transparency in the processing of personal data: we give you clear, accessible information about how we use your data.

Purposes of processing

The data you give us through the form on this site is processed to:

Handle your request for a seat at The Autopilot Effect and confirm whether you get one. There are only 30 seats and we review every request, so your seat is not confirmed until you receive our email.
Send you the practical details of the event: date, venue, agenda and any last-minute changes.
If you tick the relevant box, allow the event partners to contact you. That box is optional and leaving it unticked does not affect your request.

The data we collect is: name, email, your company website, the ecommerce platform you use, how you heard about us and, if you tell us, the name of a companion. Mandatory fields are marked on the form.

Legal bases

Your express consent, given when you tick the box on the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
Performance of the relationship arising from your seat request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Compliance with the legal obligations that apply to us (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as the event is being organised and, afterwards, blocked for the applicable statutory limitation periods. If you ask us to erase it, we will, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.

Sharing with third parties

Your data is not shared with third parties without your express consent, except where required by law or by public authorities.

Partner contact box. If you tick it, you authorise us to share your name, email and website with the event partners (Shopify, Klaviyo, Konvo and Phemea) so they can contact you for commercial purposes. The box is optional: you can request a seat without ticking it, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us.

Service providers. We work with providers that process data on our behalf as processors: Sanity (content and registration management), Resend (sending the confirmation emails) and Vercel (website hosting).

International transfers

Some of our providers and partners are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States and Canada, Shopify among them. These transfers rely on the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Venue map

The event page embeds a Google Maps map to show where it takes place. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and technical data from your browser, processed under its own privacy policy. This map does not install cookies on your device.

Event photography and recording

The event is photographed and recorded, and that material may later be used to promote the event and future editions. If you would rather not appear, tell us at the registration desk and we will take note.

Cookies

This site does not install cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking system that stores information on your device. That is why you will not find a cookie banner.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection at any time, and withdraw any consent you have given us.
